About Us
Dr. Samera Mumtaz
Dr. Samera Mumtaz has been practicing in Delaware County for over a decade. Prior to Brookline Dental Associates she worked in Springfield, PA.
Dr. Mumtaz graduated with a Bachelor's in Dental Surgery in 2004 from Sheffield Dental School in the UK. She moved to Philadelphia in 2005 and joined Temple University School of Dentistry as a faculty member in the Restorative Department. She received her Doctorate of Medicine in Dentistry two years later in 2008 and then started private practice in 2009.
Always keen to learn and grow her abilities as a dentist, leader and mentor, Dr. Mumtaz has accomplished several outstanding accolades in her profession. She is highly regarded by her peers for her breadth of knowledge and leadership locally and across the country.
Dr. Mumtaz is one of only 12 faculty members of Molis coaching; a teaching institution which mentors and advises over 2500 dentists across the US.
In 2019 Dr. Mumtaz completed an advanced Full Mouth Rehabilitation program at the world renowned NYU Dental Schoolunder the tutelage of Dr. Dean, one of the most progressive and gifted cosmetic dentists still practicing in the US.
In 2021 Dr. Mumtaz participated in the MGE management program based in Florida, a program dedicated to management, understanding patient needs and building efficiencies, something she strives to bring to her office every day.
Dr. Mumtaz is also a Invisalign Speaker, this has given her the opportunity to teach and help dentists learn and implement Invisalign Treatment in their practice. For a patient this means she has extensive knowledge to plan and execute the best possible care for her Invisalign patients.
Dr. Mumtaz is a Key Opinion Leader in the field of Clear Aligner Therapy. She consults one on one and in groups, helping other dentists understand and implement Clear Aligner Therapy in their practices.
Outside of work and teaching, Dr. Mumtaz is married with four beautiful children and a cat named Merlin. When she’s not at the office, she likes to spend time with her kids hiking, biking and living each day to its fullest.
